The Climbing Academy – Mothership

As a workshop of climbers, we were over the moon when The Climbing Academy asked us to work on the expansion of their Bristol site, The Mothership. This new, second floor has taken over a neglected warehouse and offers effectively double the amount of climbing.

Movement from one floor to the next was via an old concrete staircase and fire escape. We installed a bespoke metal framework and mesh panel balustrade with a Douglas fir handrail inlaid with Black Diamond Richlite to add a statement element to the corridor.
